Bar 104: Anna Maria Island

My mass started at 4pm and what am I doing? Drinking.
- Aunt Dee Dee

After a fun day on Siesta Key beach we drove a little north to Anna Maria Island to celebrate Father's Day and Ryan's Mom's 60th birthday.

Bar 104 - The Sandbar Restaurant
Just as Florida Beach Bar promised, this is one of the few restaurants that actually sits on the beach and boy did the view not disappoint.

This trip marks the first time Ryan's family makes an appearance in our blog. His parents, Nana and Aunt DeeDee came down to celebrate his Mom's birthday with us and his brother Brett.

Ryan and Dee Dee ordered a Sandbar Smash. Sarah had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Brett and Ryan's Dad each ordered a beer.

Ryan's Mom ordered a strawberry daiquiri but they first brought her a strawberry daiquiri/pina colada mix. They realized their mistake and then brought the other original order.

The food was really good, especially the conch fritters and spinach and artichoke dip. Try them out!

Ryan celebrating with Dee Dee and Nana!

Florida Beach Bar was also right when they said you may see a wedding on a Saturday afternoon. We definitely did! They were set up for two weddings on the day we visited.

Happy Father's Day and Happy Birthday!
