Bar 176: Milliken's Reef
We had family visiting from Wisconsin and after putting them to work for an entire week we decided to celebrate with a trip to a beach bar. We had several choices but we are so happy we ended up in Milliken's Reef in Port Canaveral. We had a phenomenal experience and will definitely be back when we are in the area.

We tried several beers, a Pina Colada, Bahama Mama and Bloody Mary. They accidentally made a little extra pina colada so brought us an extra cup! Bonus points for that!

Much like the other Port Canaveral bars this one is right on the canal with the cruise ships. Had we stayed another hour or so we would have been able to wave good bye to one of the Disney cruise ships. Here we are sporting some of our Florida Beach Bar gear!

They have a deck area and also a sand area for those that want to eat or drink with their toes in the sand. A live band was setting up but we didn't have a chance to listen to them before we left.

We started with some oysters and although they were a little on the small side they made up for it by giving us a couple extra. The service was top notch, Charlotte was fantastic! My Dad was craving oysters all week so we were happy they had them on the menu.

This was also the only beach bar we have visited that offered a complimentary appetizer. They served us hush puppies with a cinnamon butter. Delicious!

A look at one of our projects, new wood floors! A big thank you to Sarah's Dad and John for all of the work this week!
