Bars 6-17: Jupiter, Lantana, Deerfield, Boynton, and Delray Beaches

"Paradise Ain't Cheap"- Sign found in the Square Grouper Bar.

Go BIG or Go HOME. Game faces on!  Let's go.

Beach Bar 6: Wylder's Waterfront Bar and Grill

To visit 12 beach bars, we knew we had to pace ourselves.
So, you can imagine how great we felt when the first bar only served drinks in buckets.

Miami Mashup
Bacardi Razz,  Lemon-lime Soda,  Cranberry Juice

It was a great bar and we loved the pool in the middle of it.  But free beachballs and unsupervised kids made our first stop a little zoo-like.

Beach Bar 7: Guadabana's Island Market and Cafe
Two words: Lush Foliage.
That's right, I said Lush and Foliage.  This is one of the best beach bars we've been to.  It's on the water, has live music, great food, and the atmosphere is beautiful.

One of the great parts of the beach bar challenge is the chance to meet new friends.
Ryan, Sarah, Garland, and Alice having lunch at Guadabana's
Beach Bar 8: Square Grouper Tiki Bar

It's 5 o'clock somewhere here!!!

Sarah proving it's 5 o'clock here
For those of you who don't listen to country music, Alan Jackson did a music video called "It's 5 o'clock Somewhere" and they filmed it at the Square Grouper....

We just happened to be sitting there and realized that it was 5 o'clock!

POUR ME A HURRICANE BEFORE I GO INSANE!!!
Category 7 Hurricane

Beach Bar 9: Panama Hattie's - Palm Beach
This beach bar was unbelievable. I think why we liked it so much was that it had a lot of space and wasn't crawling with people.
I wish we could have been there at night to be around the fire pits.  Maybe next time.

No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem and the Panama Fruity

Beach Bar 10: The Old Key Lime House

When you go here, make sure you go up to the second floor and get a $2 key lime shot.  They ran out when we were there (minus 8 points! how do you run out of key lime shots at the Key Lime House?!)

So we settled for the Key Lime Martini.

Lucky for them, it was excellent.

But then, the bathroom insulted me...

Beach Bar 11: Kahuna Bar and Grill
We stopped at Kahuna's while waiting on our table to be ready at JB's on the water.

But as soon as we ordered our drink, our pager went off so we had to drink it fast!

Beach Bar 12: JB's on the Beach

We ordered the Caribbean Mai Tais

And for dinner, the Santa Fe  Chicken Sandwich and the Pecan Crusted Trout.  Both were excellent!!

Beach Bar 13: Flanigin's
We stopped in to Flanigan's and ordered a margarita.
It was a smaller bar with a lot of fishing pictures on the wall.  Service was good.

Beach Bar 14: Ocean's 234
Ocean's 234 is right next to JB's on the water.

We had their signature Mojito and played war.

Sarah won.

Beach Bar 15: Boston's on the Beach
This place had a great live band- including a saxaphone player!  I love saxaphones in a band- especially when they play summer music.

If you're from Boston or are a Boston Red Sox fan, then this place is for you.

For a drink, the "Boston Strangler" is a must.  You're at Boston's!

Beach Bar 16: The Banana Boat
We were tired and it was 1am, but we pressed on to the Banana Boat.

And I'm glad we did because we made great friends that night with Brian who was happy we were there!

We also made friends with the bartenders, Dan and Liz... and the Maid of Chatham.

And at the Banana Boat, we had to have the Dirty Banana.

Beach Bar 17: Two George's
We could have went to this one after the Banana Boat last night but we saved one for brunch the next morning before heading back.

We had a great table on the water except it was ruined when a huge yacht docked next to us and a bunch of senior citizens invaded.

We ordered Two George's Famous Rum Runner

Nothing like a test tube shot of gold rum to start your morning and end a great weekend beach bar trip.

What a great trip!
