Bar 101-103 St. Augustine Beach

Weddings! I love weddings! Drinks all around!
- Captain Jack Sparrow, Pirates of The Caribbean

We went to St. Augustine for the wedding of two of our good friends, Hailey and Justin. There were three beach bars on our list so we took the opportunity to cross those off the list.

Bar 101 - The Oasis
The Oasis is just down the street from beach access and was our first stop this morning. We had been out with friends the night before and got their at the awkward time between breakfast and lunch where the kitchen is closed. We were starving so that meant breakfast was a dozen oysters and a mimosa.

Always nice to see this sticker on the window!
The waitstaff was nice and really acommodating. It was pretty low-key since we were there at 10:45, but if we are in the area, we'd go back.

Bar 102- Panama Hatties
This bar was directly across the street from the beach so we sat on the open-air deck and had lunch. We were surprised, when looking out to see the Pavilion where the Bride and Groom hosted a wonderful welcome BBQ for friends and family the night before. Had we known, we would have stopped then!

Ryan had a rum runner, which was good but nothing super special. After a while they all kind of taste the same but this was a good example of a rum runner and we recommend it if you are in the area!

The highlight was the Hattie Burger-  a bacon cheese burger wrapped in a puffed pastry. YUMM!

The reception that night was at The White House, a gorgeous indoor/outdoor venue that overlooked the Ocean. It was a perfect night to spend with some amazing friends!

Bar 103- South Beach Grill
The next morning we got up (Sarah a bit more slowly) and made our way to South Beach Grill for lunch. It was a quiet place and we enjoyed the food, drinks and the view. We maybe would have enjoyed it a bit more had we not THOROUGHLY enjoyed the wedding the night before but that's no fault of the South Beach Grill!

Ryan ordered a bloody mary and a burger while Sarah had the roasted corn and crab chowder.
